Wishing you all a happy new year and all the best for 2008! We’re off to the harbour in approximately 45 minutes – we’re booked on a cruise, which should give us unimpeded view of the fireworks

Thank you for your outstanding description of how things looked like when all fireworks went of in Sidney, specially the waterfall from the bridge. I hope your morning snack at the Chinese restaurant stopped your hunger. All the best for the New Year 2008.

Happy New Year! The pictures I saw online of the fireworks in Sidney looked awesome, very much looking forward to hearing you talk about your probably much more exciting New Year’s than ours (Mark is working early tomorrow morning – so we just had a quiet dinner). Miss you! Glad you’re coming home soon.

Happy New Year from me and Michael as well – and welcome home by the time you read this! (unless you cheat and log in some where “en route” that is …). It has been fantastic following your trip in words and photos and I look forward to the final posts – as it is not acceptable just because you are back in the cold to not post a description and photos of your last days including New Year in the “semi” warmth.
